Founder and owner, Alana Woerpel started her decorating business in 1988, a year after graduating from the University of Virginia.   Alana began her apprenticeship in the arts of sewing and decorating when she was 5 years old, learning from her mother in Atlanta, GA.  In the 20-plus years that Alana's has been in business, she has grown the business from a small workroom to a large retail operation.  Through all types of economies the business kept growing.   Projects came her way that required travel across the country.  In 2010, she made the decision to focus her business on full-service interior decoration with greater attention to fewer projects. The contents of the retail showroom were sold to a trusted employee who opened her own business, Kelly Witt Design + Decoration, in Alana's old location.  Alana now operates her business from a private office, which affords her greater flexibility both personally and professionally. 

Alana is available for private  or at-home appointments and consultations. In-home consultations allow for the assessment of your design needs first hand. This helps Alana to know your taste and to know how to proceed with making recommendations.  When providing decorating solutions,  she takes into account each client’s tastes, needs, personality, and budget.  Alana commits to total customer satisfaction from start to finish.  As a result,  her clientèle consists primarily of repeat customers and personal referrals.
